Just one of the many angels with instruments that surrounded Jesus Christ’s during his ascension to heaven, as depicted in frescos by artist Melozzo da Forli. His work adorned Basilica dei Santi Apostoli in Rome until a remodeling in 1711 destroyed much of his work there.
