Warren G. Harding was elected to the Presidency in the largest ever popular landslide by promising the public a "return to normalcy" following World War I. What Harding brought, sadly, was an administration rife with widespread public corruption. Before the full scope of the scandals was discovered, Harding had died from food poisoning. The Teapot Dome scandal, the "Ohio gang" cronies, bribery, and a longtime affair posthumously blackened Warren Harding's name. Scott 833 Warren Harding
