Canal Zone #97 Overprint - 1926 Perf 10 Used Issue

The perf 10 rotary press 2¢ Washington was overprinted for use in the Canal Zone, but was on sale for only six months before it was replaced by the more common perf 11 x 10 1/2 variety! (Canal Zone #97)
