To publicize the United Nations’ mission to defeat hunger, 140 nations throughout the world issued postage stamps to call attention to the campaign, making it one of the largest stamp issuing causes in postal history. Although this set from Paraguay exists in perforated form, a small printing was made in different colors and without perforations. (#760-66)
