Austria Liberated - 1945 Allied Military Government Complete Mint Never-Hinged Set of 17

As Allied forces liberated the Nazi-occupied nations of Europe, postage stamps were quickly placed into use for the civilian population. Printed by the U.S. Government in Washington, these were issued by the Allied Military Government of the U.S. Great Britain and France in June 1945, replacing those issued during the Nazi occupation, until the new Austrian government was able to issue their own stamps a few months later.
