Printed in a rich shade of blue, the figures on each side of Lincoln represent the reunited North and South after the Civil War. In the early 1900s, these were sold as imperforate sheets to be made into coil rolls. Since most were eventually made into perforated coils, this imperforate stamp is a scarce and highly desirable acquisition! (US #315)
