Buddy Holly, the trendsetting singer/songwriter and guitarist that was instrumental in the fledgling rock and roll movement was tragically killed in a plane crash at the age of 22. Had he survived, Holly, holding his iconic Fender Guitar, would have seen the massive influence his style and music would have on everyone from the Beatles and Don McLean, to Eric Clapton.
